SafeAir have twice been nominated as the preferred contractor for cleaning ventilation ductwork systems at 19th Avenue On The Beach, Palm Beach with an initial deep clean in 2008 followed by a re-clean of the ventilation duct system and replacement of air vents, air registers and dampers throughout all apartments in 2016.

The Body Corporate and Management of 19th Avenue On The Beach engaged SafeAir’s duct cleaning services to carry out a deep clean of the exhaust ventilation system throughout the high-rise apartment building in 2008. During the survey it was found airflow to be poor and with minimal exhaust suctions at higher floors diminishing to zero at lower levels. Build-up was present throughout apartment registers and dampers. The ventilation system was deep cleaned and restored back to its intended working order.

In 2016 further build-up had again become visible and the team at 19th Avenue On The Beach saw the need to modernise apartments with new air registers and replace dampers of which had become seized and broken since their original installation. SafeAir technicians were re-engaged to re-clean the buildings ventilation duct system and carry out replacements of air registers and dampers throughout all apartments with great success and positive feedback noted by residents, management and the Body Corporate.

The deep cleaning of exhaust ventilation ductwork has now been added to the resorts scheduled maintenance program in years to follow.
