Project Overview

SafeAir were appointed by Royal Palm’s Management team and their proactive Body Corporate to carry out apartment ventilation duct cleaning services throughout all 150 apartments, along with common areas including toilet facilities.

Royal Palm also saw the need to modernise apartments and ensure maximum system operability by choosing to replace all exhaust ventilation fittings including control dampers and air registers/vents. Salt air and age had corroded control damper blades leading to fin breakages and hindering the ability to adjust airflow at each floor level. New fittings were installed throughout the duct system in each apartment to ensure a correct volume of airflow at lower and mid levels could be exhausted.

Many buildings are now realising the importance of upgrading or replacing aged components in order to keep-pace with newer developments that have the benefit of maximum exhaust ventilation airflow throughout apartment toilet, bathroom, ensuite and laundry areas.

Removing build-up within the exhaust ventilation ductwork system reduces potential fire risks and ensures the exhaust ventilation system is clean and operating as intended.

There were no disruptions to tenants or guests throughout the exhaust ventilation clean and technicians worked harmoniously with resort management to ensure work was completed on time.
